According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:00 on March 6, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir recorded an upstream water level of 114.42m, about 5.6m lower than the normal water level (120m). The water flow to the reservoir reached 85 m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant was 325.69 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 294.94m, only about 0.06m lower than the normal water level (295m). The inflow to the lake reached 543 m3/s, total discharge volume 131 m3/s, all through the plant.
Ban Chat Lake is currently at 448.79m, much lower than the normal water level (475m). The water flow to the lake reaches 16 m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant is 266 m3/s.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake recorded a water level of 369.31m, approaching the normal water level (370m). Water flow to the lake reached 268 m3/s, total discharge volume 297 m3/s, all through the plant.
Meanwhile, Son La reservoir is at 214.75m, close to the normal water level (215m). Water flow to the reservoir reaches 404 m3/s, total discharge volume 925 m3/s through the plant.
At Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level is at 113.42m, about 3.6m lower than the normal water level (117m). The water flow to the reservoir reached 936 m3/s, total discharge volume 374 m3/s, all through the plant; deep and surface discharge gates are closed.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for March 6th, the Northern region has light rain in some places, early morning fog and light fog scattered. Cold at night and early morning.
The Southern region in the evening and tonight will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, locally heavy rain; showers and thunderstorms in some places during the day.
