The water level of many large lakes on the Da River system such as Hoa Binh and Son La continues to maintain power generation with high flow, and overflow has not been recorded.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:00 on April 14, at Tuyen Quang reservoir, the upstream water level reached 113.04 m, nearly 7 m lower than the normal water level of 120 m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 50 m3/s, while the total discharge amount was 628.15 m3/s through the plant.

Three upstream Da River reservoirs including Lai Chau, Ban Chat and Huoi Quang have low water flow to the reservoir (from 5–95 m3/s) and have not generated electricity at the time of update.

Meanwhile, Son La Lake maintains large power generation. The lake water level is at an elevation of 210.07 m, nearly 5 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake reaches 93 m3/s, the total discharge through the plant is 970 m3/s.

Notably, Hoa Binh Lake continues to be the largest power generation lake in the area. The upstream water level reached 113.4 m, about 3.6 m lower than the normal water level of 117 m. The water flow to the lake reached 1,174 m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant reached 1,722 m3/s.

At Thac Ba Lake, the water level reached 52.96 m, the inflow to the lake was 87 m3/s and the power generation was 300.46 m3/s.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for April 14th, the Northwest region will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest common temperature of 35-37 degrees C, in some places above 37 degrees C.

The Northeast region has localized hot sun with the highest temperature in some places above 35 degrees Celsius.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue City has intense and especially intense heat; the common temperature is 38-40 degrees Celsius, with some places above 40 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang city area and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are hot and intensely hot; common temperature 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
