According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:00 on April 2, at Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant, the reservoir water level reached 115.14 m, nearly 5 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow to the reservoir 125 m3/s, total discharge through the plant reached 120.58 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, many large lakes on the Da River system continue to operate for power generation.
Lai Chau Hydropower has a water level of 289.71 m, water flow to the reservoir 275 m3/s, no water discharge has been generated.
Ban Chat Hydropower reached a water level of 431.12 m, inflow to the reservoir 9 m3/s; Huoi Quang Hydropower reached 369.3 m, inflow to 5 m3/s, all reservoirs have not yet discharged.
Meanwhile, Son La Hydropower has a water flow to the reservoir of 156 m3/s, and is generating electricity with a total discharge volume of 992 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant recorded the largest inflow to the reservoir in the area, reaching 1,680 m3/s; total discharge output of 1,103 m3/s.
At Thac Ba Hydropower Plant, the lake water level reached 53.31 m; total discharge through the plant was 463.26 m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for April 2nd, the Northern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, sunny days, and hot sun in some places. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
The highest temperature is commonly 28 - 31 degrees C; especially from Lai Chau to Dien Bien 30-33 degrees C, in some places above 34 degrees C.
The Southern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, sunny during the day, hot in some places, especially the East will be hot during the day.
