According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 6:00 AM on June 3rd, on the Da River basin, Hoa Binh reservoir reached an elevation of 100.7m, 16.3m lower than the normal water level of 117m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 314m3/s, while the total power generation flow through the plant reached 2,757m3/s.
Son La Lake is currently at an altitude of 194.68m, 20.32m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake reaches 485m3/s, the highest in the group of large hydropower reservoirs in the North, the total discharge through the plant is 248m3/s.
In the upstream area, Lai Chau Lake reached 289.6m, 5.4m lower than the normal water level; Ban Chat Lake reached 442.3m, 32.7m lower. Notably, Huoi Quang Lake is only at 368.4m, about 0.4m higher than the dead water level and 1.6m lower than the normal water level.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 99.83m, 20m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 353m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant was 781.58m3/s.
Thac Ba Lake is currently at an elevation of 50.07m, nearly 8m lower than the normal water level of 58m. The water flow to the lake reaches 100m3/s, the total discharge flow is 287.91m3/s.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 3, the Northern region will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest temperature commonly 35 - 37 degrees C, in some places above 37 degrees C.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city and eastern Quang Ngai province has hot and intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.
The Southern region has moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain (rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening).
