It is forecasted that from 1:00 a.m. on November 3 to 1:00 a.m. on November 5, the South will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain, with total rainfall generally from 70-140mm, some places may exceed 140mm. Rain will be concentrated in Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Can Tho city and part of the provinces in the Southwest. From November 5 to 6, heavy rain will continue, with common rainfall of 50-100mm, some places over 100mm and may continue after that. In which, on November 5, the rainfall is forecast to remain widespread, with rain in many places, some places having moderate rain, heavy rain and strong thunderstorms.
During the rains, there will often be dangerous weather phenomena such as strong gusts of wind, tornadoes, lightning and localized heavy rain. Especially the rains that appear in the afternoon and evening. Localized heavy rain may cause flooding on some inner-city roads in Phu Loi and Soc Trang wards of Can Tho City.
