According to the People's Committee of Vu Ban district (Nam Dinh province), since the beginning of the year, the whole district has implemented 18 site clearance projects. In addition to site clearance and started construction of infrastructure for concentrated residential areas in communes, site clearance for key projects in the area is also being implemented.
Notable in site clearance is Kim Thai Industrial Cluster (Vu Ban District). Kim Thai Industrial Park has an area of 69.04 hectares; divided into two investment phases: phase I (from 2024 - 2027) with an area of 50 hectares and phase II (from 2026 - 2028) with 19.04 hectares. The project has a total investment of nearly 900 billion VND, expected to start construction in the first quarter of 2026.
Mr. Tran Khac Thieng - Chairman of Kim Thai Commune People's Committee said that in the commune, there are 345 households in 3 hamlets with agricultural land areas that must be reclaimed for site clearance. The Kim Thai Industrial Park Construction Land Acquisition Council was established in April 2025, and up to now, households with land areas affected by the project have all agreed to hand over the site to investors.
As one of the first households to agree to give up land for the project, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chung (in Moi hamlet, Kim Thai commune) said: "My family has nearly 3 sao of rice fields (1 sao 360m2) subject to compensation for land acquisition. In addition to the prescribed land acquisition price, my family also received an additional support of 30 million to stabilize our lives. After harvesting the spring rice, the family will hand over the land to the local government".

According to Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong - Deputy General Director of Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, the site clearance of Kim Thai Industrial Park is very favorable, up to this point, all households have agreed with the compensation plan. The investor has arranged capital and will pay compensation to households before June 30
In addition, the project to renovate and upgrade the main road of Vinh Hao commune (Vu Ban district) is 3.9km long; invested by the District People's Committee, with a total estimated cost of more than 45 billion VND. The project runs through 4 villages of Vinh Hao commune including Vinh Lai, Ho Sen, Cuu Hao and Tien Hao with 208 households related to site clearance work.
In Giao Thuy district, the project to invest in the construction and business of infrastructure of Hai Long Industrial Park has a scale of about 1,100 hectares (of which phase 1 is 180 hectares) in Giao Chau and Giao Long communes. Up to now, the payment for site clearance of agricultural land of over 143 hectares, of 761 households, has been made with an amount of over 227 billion VND.
