Male student dies, suspected of falling from a high-rise apartment building in Ho Chi Minh City

HCMC - The authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the death of a male student suspected of falling from a high floor of an apartment building.

On August 1, Ho Chi Minh City Police said they were coordinating with An Hoi Tay Ward Police (old Go Vap District) to investigate the cause of a young man falling from a high floor of an apartment building to the ground and dying.

Initial information, at around 8:00 p.m. on July 31, residents of an apartment building on Road 45 (An Hoi Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) suddenly heard a loud noise coming from the block B premises. When they arrived to check, they discovered a young man dead on the spot, next to many blood stains suspected to have fallen from a high floor. The incident was quickly reported to local authorities.

An Hoi Tay Ward Police and other professional units were then present to block off the scene, conduct an autopsy and investigate the cause of the incident.

The victim was identified as Mr. T. (22 years old), a final year student at a university in Ho Chi Minh City. At the time of the incident, Mr. T. was living on the 10th floor of the apartment building.

The cause of the incident is being further clarified by the police.
