According to our records, the restaurant "Bo Song Quan" is built on a large scale with solid items and attracts many diners.
It is worth mentioning that the restaurant "Bo Song Quan" was built right on the Vam Thuat River and Ben Cat Canal. The construction of this restaurant shows signs of encroachment on the corridor and the Vam Thuat River.
A resident of this area said that the area of Bo Song Quan restaurant was previously the bed of the Vam Thuat river, but later the restaurant owner arbitrarily dumped soil onto the riverbed to build a business.
According to the people, both sides of the Vam Thuat riverbank corridor are planned riverside roads, but it is unclear why the Bo Song Quan restaurant project, which both violates the road corridor and encroaches on the riverbed, has been allowed to exist for many years.
After collecting images and information about signs of violations at Bo Song Quan restaurant, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters went to work with Thoi An People's Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hung, Vice Chairman of Thoi An Ward People's Committee, said that immediately after receiving the images and information provided by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Ward People's Committee sent forces to take photos, film and recorded that this encroachment was well-founded.
Currently, the Ward People's Committee is inviting the restaurant owner and landowner to work to find a solution.
Mr. Hung shared more information, he has only been assigned as the ward leader in charge of urban order for more than 4 months now, while the Bo Song Quan restaurant project has existed for many years.
According to Mr. Hung, that area has a planned corridor road along the river and canals, and anyone can see with the naked eye that the construction has encroached and has signs of violations. However, to determine the extent of this encroachment, the ward will invite the landowner to request the provision of relevant documents, then determine the specific violation and inform the Lao Dong Newspaper of the results of the handling.
