According to many local fishermen, they went to sea to fish about 3 to 6 nautical miles from the shore and caught a lot of fresh and delicious herring. After about 3 hours of going to sea, some boats caught nearly 1 ton of herring, boats caught less also reached from 300-500 kg.
Herring caught, fishermen sell to traders at the beach at prices ranging from 9,000 to 12,000 VND/kg. During the day, many ships go to sea 2-3 consecutive trips.
According to fishermen, at this time, many large herring schools appear near the shore, this is also the main season for herring exploitation every year, so each trip fishermen out to sea is a bumper harvest of herring with good income, so they are very excited.
