Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch on giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, on the afternoon of August 31 and September 1, localities in Thanh Hoa province organized the payment of gifts to the people.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at Ngoc Trao Military Region (Ngoc Trao Commune, Thanh Hoa Province), in the afternoon, night of August 31 and morning of September 1, the locality assigned officers to divide into many groups to go to the villages to pay for National Day gifts.
At village cultural houses such as Ngoc Long and Thiem Niem, in a bustling atmosphere, people crowded to receive gifts for the independent New Year.
Ms. Mai Thi Hien (65 years old, residing in Ngoc Long village, Ngoc Trao commune) shared: When I heard that all people were given gifts on the occasion of National Day on September 2 this year, not only me but everyone in the village was excited and waited. After more than half of my life, decades ago, I also received gifts of fish and meat on September 2 but the quantity was very small. Up to now, after decades of receiving gifts on the occasion of the National Day, there is nothing happier. Thank you to the State for your attention".
Like Ms. Hien, Mr. Bui Van Thuong (residing in Ngoc Long village, Ngoc Trao commune) said that his family has 5 members, each of whom received a gift of 100,000 VND. "With all this money, I plan to buy some more food with my family, cook a more snack and invite our neighbors to celebrate the National Day this year" - Mr. Thuong said.
According to records, the work of spending gifts in Ngoc Trao battlefield was organized very scientifically. Local officials actively support people at every stage, from receiving to completing procedures. Despite the continuous rain, people coming to receive gifts all expressed their joy and excitement to celebrate the National Day.
Mr. Le Dong Thinh - Chairman of Ngoc Trao Commune People's Committee - said: "On this occasion, there are more than 5,000 households in the area with more than 23,000 people, the total cost of gifts for the occasion of National Day 2.9 is more than 2.3 billion VND. The locality has established 6 working groups to go to villages and hamlets to pay gifts from the afternoon and evening of August 31 to September 1. logical cases that have not yet been accepted will continue to be resolved later.
Many communes and wards in Dong Nai province give gifts on National Day 2.9
According to the reporter of Lao Dong newspaper, since the morning of September 1, many communes and wards have deployed the giving of National Day gifts on September 2 to the people.
According to the People's Committee of Long Khanh Ward, on September 1, neighborhoods in Long Khanh Ward continued to simultaneously send 100,000 VND/person, a gift on the occasion of National Day, September 2.
Previously, on August 31, Long Khanh ward simultaneously deployed the giving of National Day gifts on September 2 to all people in the area.
To ensure smooth, quick, accurate and transparent payment, the People's Committee of Long Khanh Ward has established 28 payment teams at 28 Neighborhood Cultural Houses. Each group has the participation of ward officers, ward police representatives, neighborhood officers and volunteers.
Notably, these groups are also assigned a special task of supporting people technologically, helping the elderly and those who are not familiar with electronic procedures to easily access and receive gifts.
Long Khanh ward currently has 16,041 households and 74,465 people. Of which, 1,332 households with 5,136 people have social security accounts of household owners.
On August 31, 2,628 households in Long Khanh ward received National Day gifts on September 2.
On September 1, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tien - Vice Chairman of Xuan Hoa Commune People's Committee - said that this morning, September 1, the commune started organizing the organization of giving cash gifts to people at 10 locations in the area, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, each person received a gift worth 100,000 VND.
Mr. Tien also said that previously, 899 households in the commune received gifts of 100,000 VND/person, transferred directly to social security accounts for people connected to the VNeID application with an amount of more than 355 million VND.
According to the reporter's records, in communes such as Dai Phuoc, Binh Minh, Thanh Son, Binh Phuoc ward... they are giving gifts on National Day 2.9 to people.
