Poor people earn high incomes thanks to labor export

According to statistics from the authorities, from 2023 to now, the whole Krong No district has 60 people working abroad.

Local people have participated in labor export programs through businesses operating services to send workers to work abroad.

In which, it mainly focuses on markets such as: Korea, Taiwan (China), Japan. Most occupations and jobs are considered suitable for the needs of workers in Dak Nong such as: Construction, garment, patient care, agriculture, electronic assembly, etc.

According to the assessment, most workers in Krong No district after working abroad have stable and higher income than working in the same profession or qualifications.

In Taiwan (China), the income after deducting living expenses of workers fluctuates around 2030 million VND/month. In Japan and Korea, income after deducting living expenses ranges from about 3060 million VND/month.

Thanks to that, many poor workers in rural and mountainous areas have had a source of capital, accumulating great assets with their own sweat and labor.

Life is getting more and more prosperous and happy

Born into a poor family of 5 siblings in village 2, Quang Phu commune, Krong No district, Mr. Y Thong (born in 1996, M' Nong ethnic group) boldly borrowed 200 million VND from the district Social Policy Bank to go to work abroad in Korea as introduced by an acquaintance.

In 2019, Mr. Y Thong went to Korea to work at a construction company with an income of more than 50 million VND per month. During the 5 years of working (20192024), he sent money to help the family build a spacious house and paid for the cost of university for the two youngest children in the family.

When mentioning Y Thong, the people and neighbors could not help but be proud of him for helping his family escape poverty and stabilize their lives in a land with many shortages and sufferings.

Similarly, Mr. Y Thiep BJok (born in 1998), M'ong ethnic group, in Phu Loi village, Quang Phu commune, Krong No district, could not hide his joy when sharing about his new life in a foreign land and hometown.

The life of Mr. Y Thiep BJok has really changed since 2023, when the district supported him to participate in the labor export program under the contract under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas, period 2021-2025.

Currently, Y Thiep BJok has a stable job at a construction company in Japan with an income of more than 20 million VND per month.

Every month, he sends 10 million VND to his parents. Thanks to that amount of money, his family had the conditions to renovate their old house and invest in production, develop the economy, and escape poverty.

The policy of borrowing capital from the National Employment Fund under Decree 61/2015/ND-CP, implemented through the Social Policy Bank, has become an important "lets up", helping many workers in Krong No district boldly participate in labor export, gradually reaching a more stable, fulfilling and happier life.
