During the two days of November 5 and 6, leaders of Khanh Hoa province, departments, branches and localities urgently and drastically directed and implemented measures to respond to storm No. 13.
In many residential areas, from mountainous to coastal areas, people are busy reinforcing their houses, tieing up boats, and collecting items to minimize damage when the storm comes.
In Dai Lanh commune (Van Ninh district), where there are more than 3,000 aquaculture cages ( coming to the village) in Van Phong bay, the work of relocating people is being urgently implemented.
Mr. Pham Truc Viet - Chairman of Dai Lanh Commune People's Committee - said that on November 5, the commune government established 2 working groups to go to marine farming areas, coordinate with border forces to propagate and instruct people to proactively prevent storms.


Meanwhile, in Nam Ninh Hoa commune, the entire hamlet simultaneously took action to trim trees, tie up houses, clear obstacles and safely anchor boat vehicles.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan - Secretary of Nam Ninh Hoa commune - commented that storm No. 13 is a storm predicted to make landfall as a typhoon.
Therefore, cadres, union members and people actively participated, demonstrating a proactive spirit, solidarity, and determination to minimize the damage caused by the storm.
The entire Nam Ninh Hoa commune is determined to ensure safety, be on duty 24/7 with the motto "no people lack housing or food".



Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam suggested that local authorities strictly implement the "4 on-site" motto, in which special attention is paid to accommodation, food and necessities for people moving from vulnerable areas to safe places.
The provincial leaders requested to promote the role of village and residential group cadres in propaganda and mobilization of people to comply with natural disaster prevention and control measures; at the same time, promptly evacuate and move from high-risk areas when requested by local authorities.
Currently, the entire Khanh Hoa province has activated the storm prevention command system, increased 24/7 duty, and prepared forces and means for rescue when necessary, in order to minimize damage to people and property before storm No. 13.
