On the afternoon of November 5, the Vietnam Coast Guard Group led by Major General Le Dinh Cuong - Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard inspected the response to storm No. 13 at Squadron 32, stationed in Dong Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province.

According to Colonel Pham Thanh Dan - Squadron Commander of Squadron 32, the unit has completed preparations and response plans for situations of broken buoys and broken ship ropes, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.
Currently, Squadron 32 has coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Civil Defense Steering Committee and the Provincial Military Command to determine the forces, vehicles, and search and rescue areas when situations occur.
The communication system is inspected, ensuring command and control to respond to the developments of the storm. Ships operating at sea are directed to closely monitor the developments of storm No. 13 Kalmaegi and calculate the choice of safe anchorage locations.

The unit proactively coordinated with local authorities and other units to prepare forces and means to help people promptly respond to and overcome the consequences of storms.
The squadron also assigned a working group to take the two violating fishing vessels to take shelter from the storm at Hon Khoi port. Reviewing officers and soldiers whose families rent houses or houses are not solid; with elderly parents and young children near the unit to have a plan to relocate to the Squadron for safe shelter.
Coordinate with localities to help people on cages and fishing boats in the southern Van Phong Bay area to avoid storms.
Major General Le Dinh Cuong suggested that the Squadron absolutely not be subjective, implementing the storm response according to the motto "4 on-site", "3 readiness", "3 proactive".
Along with preparing equipment and means for natural disaster prevention and search and rescue, Major General Le Dinh Cuong also requested to ensure the safety of life and health for the forces directly on duty and the officers and soldiers.
Squadron 32 strictly implements the information and reporting regime, establishes a rapid response team ready to take on tasks when directed by the Command Department.
