The project is under construction but has been suspended
Recently, people living at the beginning of Lac Long Quan road (Tan Hoa 1 village, Loc Nga commune, Bao Loc city) are facing many difficulties because the road has been dug up and blatantly.
The above route is invested by the People's Committee of Loc Nga commune. The project started in early 2024, is over 1.3km long with a total cost of 9.7 billion VND.
The main branch connecting to National Highway 20 is 1.2km long, with an investment value of 9 billion VND. Meanwhile, the 157m long branch ends at Loc Nga Primary School, with an investment of about 700 million VND.

According to research, this level IV traffic project has been upgraded and renovated on the old roadbed, with a foundation of 6.5m wide and a road surface of 5.5m wide hot asphalt concrete.
After more than a year of construction, most of the road has been completed, creating favorable conditions for people to travel and transport goods, contributing to changing the face of the countryside.

However, the remaining 190m section has been suspended for more than 2 months. On this road, there are more than 20 households living on both sides of the road.
In reality, many locations have been hit by excavation. Although there has been no intervention from the construction unit, the road surface is currently peeling and seriously damaged.
It is worth mentioning that this road section has a large slope, causing traffic difficulties and posing a potential risk of accidents.

Ms. Mai Xuan Cuong (75 years old) said that her family donated land to build a road, but the section in front of her house is still neglected, causing danger due to erosion.
Similarly, Ms. Kieu Thi Nga was also upset about the piles of land existing in front of her house, making it difficult to travel.
Proposal to adjust design
Mr. Phan Hung Dung, Head of Tan Hoa 1 village, said that if the construction is according to the design, the slope will be too high, causing difficulties for the people.
He proposed reducing the roadbed elevation by 30 to 50% to ensure convenient travel and improve the lives of households.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu - Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of Bao Loc City said that the above road section has a large slope.
According to the design, the maximum allowable slope is 11%. If the construction is completed, the road section must be raised by 1.5 to 2m from the old roadbed.
However, according to the survey, if the construction is in accordance with the design, the roadbed will be filled high, affecting the travel of households with houses on the frontage.
Therefore, the construction of this road section is being temporarily suspended for consideration and adjustment to ensure suitability.
The People's Committee of Loc Nga commune has reported to the People's Committee of Bao Loc City on difficulties during the construction process, and proposed to adjust the design to ensure the rights of the people.
