On May 10, leaders of D'ran Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) said that the locality had just coordinated with the Political Department of Military Region 7, the Military Youth Committee, An Phuc Charity Club and the Youth Union of Vietnam Television to organize the program "Living After the Flood" to donate livestock to people.

The atmosphere at the program was exciting, many households expressed their joy when receiving practical support while their lives were still facing many difficulties after the natural disaster.
The program supports households affected by natural disasters to gradually restore production and stabilize their lives.
Accordingly, the units provided support to 410 households with a total of 8,000 breeding chickens and 10 breeding cows, with a total value of nearly 300 million VND.
Ms. Ka Doi (78 years old, residing in Kan Kill village) emotionally shared: "My family is one of 10 households supported with breeding cows after the flood. My husband and I are old, life is difficult. This cow will help the family have more conditions to develop animal husbandry and stabilize life.

Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Van Mung (67 years old, residing in Chau Son village) is one of 400 households supported with breeding chickens. According to Mr. Mung, the flood at the end of 2025 caused his family's gardens and crops to be deeply flooded and completely damaged.
Up to now, basic production has been restored, but life is still difficult. Being supported with 20 breeding chickens, my family will take good care of them to develop animal husbandry, increase income and stabilize life," Mr. Mung shared.
According to Ms. Phan Thi Hoai Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of D'ran commune, the support of units and organizations is of practical significance to the locality after the natural disaster.

Ms. Phan Thi Hoai Thanh said that due to the heavy impact of floods in 2025, many households in the area suffered heavy property and production losses.
Many areas of vegetables and crops are flooded, livestock and poultry die or are lost, causing people's lives to face many difficulties.
This seed support contributes to helping people gradually restore livelihoods and stabilize the family economy. This is not only a source of material support but also a spiritual encouragement for people to overcome difficulties after natural disasters," Ms. Thanh said.

The locality has assigned forces to receive and distribute breeds to the right subjects, publicly and transparently; and at the same time guide techniques for care and animal husbandry so that people can promote the effectiveness of support sources, gradually increase income and stabilize their long-term lives.
Previously, during the flood in November 2025, D'ran commune was the most severely damaged locality in Lam Dong.
The flood caused more than 700 houses to be flooded, 5 houses to collapse completely and more than 1,300 hectares of vegetables to be damaged.
