On October 18, the leader of Tuy Phuoc Commune People's Committee (Gia Lai) said that the authorities had found the body of Mr. P.H.T (born in 1977) in the Dieu Tri Bridge area after many hours of searching.
Initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. on October 17, people discovered Mr. T being swept away by water while grazed a cow, so they immediately reported it to the authorities. After receiving the news, rescue forces quickly arrived at the scene, deployed vehicles and searched.
According to the People's Committee of Tuy Phuoc commune, while grazing cows, Mr. T discovered that his cow was lost, so he swam across the river to bring it back. When he returned to swimming, he was unfortunately swept away by the strong water.
At the time of the incident, the river water rose, flowed strongly and was cloudy due to prolonged heavy rain, causing many difficulties for rescue work. On the morning of October 18, the victim's body was found and handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.
