On the afternoon of June 28, the People's Committee of Dai Lao commune, Bao Loc city, said that the unit is coordinating with Lam Dong Provincial Police to mobilize police and militia forces to travel many kilometers of forest road to approach the scene where a man was found dead in the deep forest.
Accordingly, the authorities conducted an examination of the scene and autopsy to serve the investigation and clarify the cause of death.
Earlier, on the same morning, the authorities of Dai Lao commune received a report from Mr. T, residing in Anh Mai 1 village, Loc Chau commune, Bao Loc city, about his son P.N.D (32 years old) going into the forest in Dai Lao commune to pick wild sunflowers but had not returned for many days and had lost contact.
According to the family's report, Mr. D went into the forest on the morning of June 23, then could not return and the family could not contact him.
As soon as the information was received, Dai Lao Commune Police coordinated with forest rangers, militia and people to familiarise the terrain to organize the search.
After many hours of traveling through the forest, arriving at Sub-zone 475 (Dai Lao Commune), bordering the deep forest in Loc Tan Commune (Bao Lam District) and Da M'ri Town (Da Huoai District), the authorities discovered a hut covered with tarpaulins.
Here, the victim was found dead lying in a hammock.
The incident was then reported to Lam Dong Provincial Police for further investigation and clarification of the cause of death.
