On July 3, Mr. Vo Hong Tien (residing in Cam Thanh ward, Quang Ngai province) was busy cleaning up a small house in An Phu commune to be ready to welcome an officer from the old Kon Tum province who had just moved to work in Quang Ngai. In particular, this guest will be able to stay for free.
The small house was built by Mr. Tien as a place to relax on weekends, gather with family and friends. However, after Kon Tum province merged into Quang Ngai province, he learned that many newly transferred officials were having difficulty with housing. Without hesitation, he discussed with his wife to give this house to a place for an unstable cadre to live.

Thinking that it is working, Mr. Tien posted information on social media with the content: "I have a level 4 house of about 40 square meters, including a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen... left empty. Those from Kon Tum who work in the new province of Quang Ngai can stay for free if they can't rent a house. The house is 3 km from the Provincial Party Committee. Priority is given to those in difficult circumstances".
Mr. Tien's status line received "reward from the online community". Immediately after that, an officer from Kon Tum who had just accepted a job in Quang Ngai immediately called to want to live there. Although they have never met, Mr. Tien still happily agrees.
Ms. Doan Thi Thuy Giang - Mr. Tien's wife - shared: "Through monitoring the information, we saw many people from Kon Tum coming to need accommodation. The couple decided to provide free support, without calculating or focusing on money. Housing support helps cadres, civil servants and public employees from Kon Tum soon stabilize their lives and start a new job. That is also the joy of the family.
Similarly, Ms. Ngo Thi Na (44 years old, from Son Tinh commune) also shared information on social networks with the content:
" when Kon Tum friends return to work in Quang Ngai, if you don't have a place to live, please visit our house. The house is about 7 km from the center, right at Tra Khuc 3 bridge (new). A little further but quiet, cool, airy. The house has 2 bedrooms, air conditioned, living room, bathroom and kitchen with full amenities, just moved in. I did not take the money. Those who really need it should boldly contact us.

Immediately after posting, an officer from Kon Tum also contacted and Ms. Na quickly agreed to give him free accommodation. Ms. Ngo Thi Na expressed: I used to work in Mang Den commune, so I understand the difficulties of having to work away from home. My wife and I want to share our living space as a way to express the affection of Quang Ngai people for cadres from Kon Tum.
It takes about 4 hours to travel from Kon Tum to the center of Quang Ngai, a distance of 160 km. After the merger, from July 1, 1, 1,163 cadres, civil servants and public employees from Kon Tum were transferred to work in Quang Ngai province.
Quang Ngai province has selected 4 locations to arrange public housing for officials from Kon Tum to Quang Ngai to work, including Provincial Party Committee A3 Guest House, T50 Guest House, Political School Boarding House and Le Khiet High School Boarding House.
Currently, construction units are making efforts to complete these facilities soon to ensure decent accommodation, helping Kon Tum staff quickly stabilize their lives and get up to speed with new work.
