On the afternoon of February 21, Vinh Long Commune Police (Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province) said that the unit had clarified information spread on social networks about strangers breaking into a house and using needles to inject into a child.
Previously, on social networks, there was a warning about the subject breaking into the house of Ms. N.T.C (born in 1980, residing in Nha Tai village, Vinh Long commune).
According to the warning, at around 9:00 p.m. on February 20, the family locked the door to go to sleep. At around 2:00 a.m. on February 21, Ms. C's daughter felt a needle injected into her, Ms. C ran through the room and shouted, but the person broke in and ran away, jumped the fence and escaped. Checking under the bed, Ms. C discovered a needle tube containing liquid.
Upon receiving the above information, Vinh Long Commune Police went to Ms. C's house to verify, but no such incident occurred.
