Tan Ha Road (DDT.87) is one of the important traffic axes in Tuyen Quang City. Recently, this road has been facing an increase in illegal construction material storage areas.
Not only does it affect the urban beauty, these gathering places also pose a potential risk to traffic safety and affect the lives of people in the area.

Recorded by PV in the last days of March 2025, along Tan Ha road, many sand and construction material gathering areas appeared. These beaches are mainly located along the banks of the Lo River, with sand, gravel, and rocks lying around. Trucks carrying materials in and out were crowded.
At the foot of Tan Ha bridge, a sand and brick storage yard has been in operation for many years. On an area of hundreds of square meters right under the bridge piers, all kinds of materials are piled up. Sand, gravel, and bricks are located near the riverbank, surrounded by people's cultivated land.

About 500 meters from the foot of Tan Ha bridge, a spontaneous sand and gravel gathering site of hundreds of square meters right next to the local people's cultivated land. The sand beach is located in the open, about a few dozen meters from the urban road.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoan (Tuyen Quang City) said that the situation of spontaneous storage facilities has appeared for a long time. The bustling operation caused many serious consequences.

"In addition to losing the urban beauty, the gathering areas also affect people's lives.
The staging area is located right at the foot of Tan Ha bridge, with construction materials lying around. Vehicles entering and exiting to pick up materials cause traffic insecurity, affecting vehicles participating in traffic. Local people hope to have a definitive solution," said Ms. Hoan.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Long - Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of Tuyen Quang City - said that the unit has issued a number of documents directing the settlement of the illegal gathering area, and will inspect and handle it according to regulations in the coming time.
