Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines proactively deploys a plan to adjust flight schedules to ensure the safety of passengers and crew against the impact of storm Bualoi (storm No. 10).
Specifically, on September 28, flight VN1597 on the Hanoi - Dong Hoi route and flight VN1404 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Hoi route had their early take-off time adjusted, transferred to 05:30 on the same day.
Flight VN1590 on the Dong Hoi - Hanoi route will take off at 07:10 on the same day; flight VN1405 on the Dong Hoi - Ho Chi Minh City route will take off at 07:45 on the same day.
In addition, on the same day, September 28, flight VN7270 of Ho Chi Minh City - Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa) was adjusted takeoff time to 07:00 and flight VN7271 of Tho Xuan - Ho Chi Minh City was adjusted takeoff time to 09:15 on the same day.
Also on September 28, Vietnam Airlines will cancel flights to and from Phu Bai airport (Hue). The airline also temporarily suspended flights to and from Da Nang International Airport until 12:00 on September 28.
During the same period, some other domestic and international flights may be affected by the storm.
Vietnam Airlines Group recommends that passengers wear seat belts throughout the flight, especially in complicated weather conditions. Proactively installing seat belts, even when the signal lights are turned off, is an important measure to help reduce the risk of the aircraft encountering air disturbances.
Vietnam Airlines also said that flight times may continue to be adjusted depending on the actual situation. The airline will update information through the media and contact in passenger booking records.
