The discharge flow is from 05m3/s to 100m3/s depending on the development of the rain and flood situation.

Phuc Yen Irrigation Company Limited proactively regulates discharge flows to ensure safety of lakes, safety of Ca Lo - Nam Vien river dykes and water needs for production and daily life of people, limiting flood discharge causing flooding downstream areas;

Notify localities in the downstream area of the dam (affected area) about the situation of regulating the discharge of water from the reservoir so that localities have plans to prevent flooding and set up guard posts in flooded culverts and spillways.
