Many vehicles move quickly on the most beautiful route in Cao Bang

Cao Bang - Vo Nguyen Giap Street is experiencing more and more traffic safety violations.

Invested and put into use since 2021, Vo Nguyen Giap Street is considered one of the most modern, spacious and beautiful roads in Cao Bang province. The route is designed with 8 lanes, creating favorable conditions for vehicles to circulate.

However, recently, traffic violations on the route have occurred continuously.

Many people deliberately go in the wrong direction, drive motorbikes in a row or move in violation of regulations at intersections, causing insecurity and frustration for those participating in traffic in accordance with the law.

On August 20, a car driver with license plate 11A-097.60 was discovered driving in the wrong direction on the route. Although it did not cause a collision, this behavior surprised and uncomfortable many passersby.

Just one day later, at the roundabout area adjacent to Song Hien Bridge and Vo Nguyen Giap Street, a woman was also driving in the wrong direction, cutting the front of the car, luckily there was no accident but left a suggestive traffic image.

Previously, on July 28, social networks spread a video recording 3 cases of motorbikes lining up on Vo Nguyen Giap Street. After receiving the report, Thuc Phan Ward Police verified and punished the violators.

On August 23, at the section passing through the Song Hien resettlement area (Thuc Phan ward), reporters continued to record many people driving motorbikes in the wrong direction.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nghiem (residing in Thuc Phan ward) explained that it could be because the turning point was about 100m away, so people often chose to take a shortcut to shorten the distance.

The newly opened Song Hien market has also caused an increase in the number of people entering and leaving the area, leading to this situation becoming more common.

Notably, Vo Nguyen Giap is one of the main routes connecting the old and new administrative centers of Cao Bang province, with a high density of vehicles, especially during rush hour.

For that reason, driving in the wrong direction or moving in the wrong direction not only violates the law but also directly threatens the safety of the driver and other vehicles.

According to records, in less than an hour, dozens of vehicles were traveling in the wrong direction on this road.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Viet (Thuc Phan ward) - shared: "They go like that, it is very dangerous, there is a risk of accidents for themselves and everyone, there are places on the route that have cameras to issue fines, but many people still violate the law".

Recently, the Traffic Police have repeatedly taken action to strictly handle violations. Recently, a driver driving a blue-plate car in the wrong direction was fined 19 million VND and had 4 points deducted from his driver's license. However, violations of traffic regulations still occur frequently.
