On April 11, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province announced that it had just issued documents to deploy works and projects in the process of implementing the plan to reorganize the apparatus of the political system.
The province continues to implement approved projects and ensure that there is no waste in the use of public capital.
With the goal of streamlining the administrative apparatus, the province has implemented the Conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on continuing to reorganize the apparatus in 2025.
For investment projects to build new and repair administrative headquarters, the Provincial People's Committee requests to temporarily suspend newly started projects, except for projects with pre-arranged policies and capital allocation. Unfinished works will continue to be monitored and directed to avoid loss and waste.
For projects that have been implemented and are still unfinished, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province allows the continued implementation of a number of important projects such as: Tuyen Hoa District Cultural Center Project; Tuyen Hoa District Cultural Center Furniture and Support items Project; Ngu Thuy Commune Headquarters Construction Project; Le Thuy District Sports Center Construction Project; Multi-purpose Gymnasium and Supporting Works Project in Ba Don Town...
In addition, projects related to the procurement of equipment for units not subject to reorganization will continue to be implemented, especially projects serving the health sector, education, and social security works. Districts, towns and cities are responsible for deciding on the implementation of projects, ensuring savings, efficiency and compliance with regulations.
At the same time, the province requires administrative units to continue implementing tasks related to social security work, heritage conservation and facilities for caring for vulnerable groups in society. These projects will be prioritized for implementation during the administrative apparatus reorganization phase.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction and Land Fund Development of Le Thuy District Ngo Van Ninh said that the district has 2 projects that the province continues to allow for construction, which are the Ngu Thuy Commune Headquarters Construction Project and the Le Thuy District Sports Center Construction Project.
The two projects have a total investment of 90 billion VND. For the Ngu Thuy Commune Headquarters Project, the rough construction has been completed. The Le Thuy District Sports Center project is being implemented as a foundation.
Up to now, due to a 1-month suspension according to the direction of the apparatus arrangement, the progress has been affected. But the Management Board will urge to complete it in 2025.
