On September 29, contractors are urgently constructing and speeding up the construction progress of the construction package of 3 sections from Binh Chuan to Saigon River under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project.
Notably, in this section, the Ring Road 3 project will pass through 2 major routes, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and National Highway 13 (nearly 1 km apart). These are 2 routes with a large volume of traffic. The investor has decided to build an overpass across the two routes above.
According to records, the section across National Highway 13 is currently being paid as a bridge abutment. Meanwhile, the section passing through Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, the pile system, pillars, and supporting funds have been completely built. The spans of the bridges have been crossed over Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street.
The next section, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 running parallel to a real estate project is also designed to build an elevated overpass.
According to the Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, construction package 3 will start in February 2024. The bridge has completed 318/318 bored piles, the abutment rack has reached 38/40 platforms, the abutment rack has reached 37/40 pillars, the girder cast has reached 244/304 girders, and the girder installed has reached 196/304 girders. Meanwhile, the road construction volume has also reached about 48%.
The total volume of construction package 3 reached VND798 billion/VND1,654.6 billion (completion rate of 48.23% compared to the contract volume).
According to records, the construction of construction package 3 is currently facing many difficulties due to weather. Heavy rain hinders the construction of workers. In addition, the heavy rain at the construction site also made it difficult to transport machinery and materials.
