Da Nang Police vehicles bring warm air to Dak Lak flooded areas

Da Nang - The City Police have come to Hoa Thinh Commune, Dak Lak to present 400 million VND in emergency support to 40 households that lost their homes and people after floods.

Responding to the "Three Best" emulation movement of the Ministry of Public Security, focusing on the criterion "Nearest to the People", on November 29 - 30, the Da Nang City Police Youth Union coordinated with benefactors in Ho Chi Minh City to directly go to Hoa Thinh commune, Dak Lak province (old Phu Yen) to organize emergency relief for people affected by floods.

The working group presented 400 million VND to support 40 households whose houses were completely collapsed or whose people died due to natural disasters. Each household receives from 5 to 15 million VND, helping people have more conditions to rebuild their houses and soon stabilize their lives.

It is known that Hoa Thinh commune is one of the localities that suffered the most damage in Dak Lak province with dozens of houses swept away, many households lost their properties; hundreds of livestock, livestock and large areas of crops destroyed. Some families have also suffered human losses.

At the support handover ceremony, many people were moved by the timely attention of the Da Nang City Police force and benefactors.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (My Trung village) shared: "The floodwaters swept away everything... The house and belongings were gone. People are very happy to receive this support. That is the fulcrum for us to have more confidence to recover and start our lives.

The activity demonstrates the efforts of the Youth Union of Da Nang City Police in implementing the "Three First" emulation movement, spreading human values, contributing to strengthening the people's trust.

Previously, from November 26 to 28, Hospital 199 - Ministry of Public Security and many accompanying units traveled a long distance to La Tul commune and Quy Nhon Tay ward, giving 300 gifts worth more than 450 million VND. Along with that is 200kg of Cloramin B and many supplies to support the grassroots police force, those who are staying in the area day and night.

Each gift is given directly, each greeting is sent, all are like a message: In times of trouble, the police force always accompanies the people.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Ha (Hospital 199) shared emotionally: Hospital 199 not only treats and saves people, but also hopes to accompany and share difficulties with the people. That is the responsibility and also the heart of the doctors and soldiers of the People's Public Security".

Staying behind each journey is not only a relieved worry... but also a multiplied love.
