According to Lao Dong's records on December 28, Co Linh road (in the direction of Vinh Tuy bridge to Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway) is being renovated and sidewalks are being cut. In the construction area, machinery and dozens of workers are working urgently to complete the Co Linh road expansion project.
According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, Co Linh street currently has 3 lanes for each side of the road, after renovation it is 5 lanes for each side of the road.
In addition to adjusting the size of the median strip and sidewalk to increase the number of straight lanes, functional forces also opened more right-turning lanes for both directions of Co Linh street turning right into Thach Ban street.
Co Linh street is considered a traffic black spot of Long Bien ward due to frequent traffic jams during peak hours. This is a road connecting directly from Vinh Tuy bridge to the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, so it often receives a large number of vehicles.
The Co Linh road expansion project is assessed that when completed, it will help reduce traffic congestion in this area.

3km from the Co Linh - Thach Ban intersection, the Chu Huy Man - Nguyen Lam intersection (Phuc Loi ward) has also just adjusted the sidewalk size, expanded the roadbed by 1 lane, creating a right turn lane for the direction of Chu Huy Man street turning right into Nguyen Lam to Huynh Van Nghe.
At the same time, adjust the size of the traffic island in the direction of Nguyen Lam turning right to Chu Huy Man towards Dao Hinh street.
After the project is completed, it will increase 1 more lane on Chu Huy Man street in the direction of turning right into Nguyen Lam to Huynh Van Nghe, creating conditions for vehicles to turn right continuously to minimize traffic congestion in this area.

According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, in the past time, before the complicated developments of traffic congestion in Hanoi City, the Department has reported and proposed to the City People's Committee to implement many synchronous solutions on improving traffic infrastructure, adjusting traffic organization plans on 12 intersections, so far 9/12 projects have been implemented and completed, promoting investment efficiency, and the remaining 3/12 are continuing to be implemented by the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board, expected to be completed before December 31, 2025.
Through inspection and monitoring of traffic conditions at intersections, these roads all bring positive effects, helping vehicles to escape better, contributing to reducing traffic congestion in the city.
