On April 20, in Dong A ward, Ninh Binh province, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the province organized a conference to collect opinions from representatives of the residential community to implement the Ninh Binh province's socio-economic development driving force road project (Hoa Lu - Nam Dinh road).
The content of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province taking opinions includes: policy and investment policy of the project; project conformity with regulations on construction and land; issues of waste treatment and environmental protection; compensation and site clearance work.
Information at the conference, representatives of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 2 - Ninh Binh province (project investor) said that the Hoa Lu - Nam Dinh road construction project belongs to group A; total investment capital of nearly 14,000 billion VND from the budget, of which site clearance costs are estimated at 6,710 billion VND. The project includes 4 roads with a total length of 39km.
Regarding compensation and site clearance, representatives of the investor said that the number of households affected by the project is about 7,716 households, of which about 495 households are affected by land acquisition and must be relocated; about 7, 221 households are affected by agricultural land acquisition. 83 graves are also expected to be relocated.
The total land area occupied by the project is about 368.2ha, of which 311.3ha of land must be compensated (17.6ha of residential land, 290.7ha of agricultural land, 3.1ha of production and business land), and the remaining 56.9ha of land is not compensated.
