Lao Cai - The health sector has mobilized forces, vehicles, medicine and equipment to rescue and treat victims in the overturned truck carrying the charity delegation.

Accordingly, to promptly rescue victims in the car accident in Phinh Ho commune on the morning of December 27, General Hospital No. 1 and General Hospital No. 3 of Lao Cai province sent ambulances and specialized vehicles to support and functional forces to rescue victims.

Urgently deploy measures to receive, provide emergency care, and treat victims in the serious traffic accident that occurred in the area.

Mobilize maximum manpower, vehicles, equipment, medicine and intravenous fluids to serve emergency, surgical, and patient treatment work.

At the same time, assign specialized on-duty teams (Reanimation, Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, X-ray, Testing...) to be ready to coordinate in receiving and treating patients immediately upon admission.

Currently, many victims are diagnosed with multiple injuries: closed chest injury, head injury, multiple left calf injury, 1 victim with traumatic brain injury, coma...

In addition to the 9 deceased, the identities of the 9 injured people being treated include:

1. Phung Manh Quan, 37 years old, residing in Hanoi;

2. Do Thi Nhat Hong, 37 years old, residing in Hanoi;

3. Hoang Ngoc Anh, 24 years old, residing in Hanoi;

4. Pham Thi Thuy Hang, 44 years old, residing in Hanoi;

5. Nguyen Phuong Thao, 18 years old, residing in Hanoi;

6. Ly Cong Chieu, 29 years old, residing in Hanoi;

7. Nguyen Thi Phuong Khuyen, 26 years old, residing in HCMC;

8. Tran Bao Yen, 22 years old, residing in Hanoi;

9. Pham Trung Kien, residing in Hanoi.

As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on the morning of December 27, a charity group of 18 people (including the driver, Mr. Do Dang Thinh, born in 1960, address Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) traveled by passenger car with license plate 29B-61406 from Hanoi to the school point in Tang Ghenh village, Hoa Mi Kindergarten, Phinh Ho commune.

At about 7:40 am, at km35 of the road connecting National Highway 32 with Provincial Road 174 (belonging to Mu Thap village, Phinh Ho commune), it collided with a guardrail (wire roller) about 50m, leading to the vehicle overturning on the right side of the road in the direction of Hanh Phuc commune to Phinh Ho commune.

The incident killed 9 people, including 8 victims who died on the spot and 1 person who did not survive on the way to the hospital.
