As the second child and youngest daughter in the family, female graduate Dinh Thi Trang early became aware of the responsibility of the young generation for the cause of national defense.

In 2025, after graduating with honors in Primary Education from Hung Vuong University, Dinh Thi Trang (23 years old, from Phu Tho) moved to Lam Dong to live with her cousin with the desire to find opportunities to continue pursuing a teaching career.
At her temporary residence, after being propagated about the recruitment work by B'Lao Ward Police, Trang decided to realize her childhood dream of wearing a military uniform.

For Trang, enlisting is not only fulfilling civic duty but also an opportunity to train in a strict disciplinary environment, helping herself mature more in thought and action.
From that thought, the Muong ethnic girl decided to put aside her dream of becoming a primary school teacher to fulfill her duty in the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces.
Sharing about her decision, Dinh Thi Trang said that the People's Police environment is a good condition for studying, training and striving.
She affirmed that she will strive to complete all assigned tasks, strive to become an excellent police soldier, and contribute to the cause of national defense.

Trang's decision received support from her family. According to Trang, relatives always encourage and create conditions for her to prepare mentally, healthily, and be ready to leave when she is recruited and has the opportunity to work long-term in the Police force.
My wish is not only to fulfill my duties well during my military service but also to continue striving to serve for a long time in the People's Police force, contributing youth to ensuring security and order, for the peaceful life of the people," Trang expressed.
According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Sy Duc - Head of B'Lao Ward Police (Lam Dong), the unit has actively reviewed young people of age, promoted propaganda about military service and the obligation to participate in the People's Police.

Among the volunteer youths who wrote applications for military service this time, Dinh Thi Trang is the only female citizen of the ward.
Trang's actions are not only a personal choice but also show the awareness and responsibility of a young citizen.
Thereby, contributing to spreading the enthusiastic spirit, adding motivation for local youth to be ready to perform sacred tasks with the Fatherland.
According to the target assigned by the Government, in 2026, Lam Dong province will select and call up 4,607 citizens to enlist (including 3,700 citizens for the army and 907 citizens for the police).
The Provincial Military Service Council determined the goal of recruiting soldiers "smoothly", implementing the motto "recruit whoever is secure".
The quality of enlisted youth is highly appreciated. The whole province has 269 citizens achieving health type 1, more than 1,700 citizens achieving health type 2.
Youth aged 18-20 accounted for 73.8% of the total number of decisions assigned. The high school graduation rate reached 30.9%; intermediate, college, and university level reached 7.6%.
Notably, there are 1,356 citizens following religions (35.1%), 1,005 citizens who are children of ethnic minorities (28.4%). The whole province has 62 enlisted party members, of which 53 are official party members.
These figures show the strong spread of the spirit of responsibility and dedication among all strata of the people.
