On the morning of October 16, Hai Chau Ward Police (Da Nang City) said that they are investigating and clarifying the cause of the traffic accident that occurred in the area.
Initial information, at more than 7:00 a.m., at Tam Giac market ( bordering Hai Chau ward and Thanh Khe ward), a car with license plate 43A-456.xx suddenly crashed onto the sidewalk, hit a fruit stall and passersby.
According to witnesses, the car was moving from Ong Ich Khiem Street to Dong Da Street when it suddenly lost control, climbed onto the sidewalk, hit the fruit trading area continuously, passersby and only stopped when it crashed into an electric pole.
According to initial information, 2 people were injured in the accident, the electric pole was broken, and the vehicle was severely damaged.
Immediately after the incident, the police force was present at the scene to regulate traffic, support the victims and investigate the cause.
Initially, it was determined that the driver was a woman, believed to have caused a mistake in the steering wheel while driving.
The cause of the incident is being further verified and clarified by the authorities.
