On December 23, the People's Committee of Ba Don Ward (Ba Don Town, Quang Binh Province) said that an accident had just occurred, causing 2 casualties.
According to initial information, at around 8:00 p.m. on December 22, on Hung Vuong Street (in Ward 2, Ba Don Ward), a collision occurred between a car with license plate 73A-079.xx (driver unknown) and a motorbike. On the motorbike at that time were Ms. P.T.O.H (born in 2005) and Nguyen Tuan Vu (born in 2008, both residing in Quang Phong Ward, Ba Don Town).
The collision caused Ms. H to die later. Vu was seriously injured and was taken to the Bac Quang Binh Regional General Hospital by local people and authorities for emergency treatment.
At the scene, two vehicles were badly damaged.
The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
