On the evening of July 15, a clip appeared on social media with content about a car crashing into a number of other vehicles on the road and then fleeing.
Sharing with PV of Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. N.M (the person who posted the clip) said that the incident was recorded by her at around 8:30 p.m. on July 15.
According to Ms. N.M, while traveling on Hoang Hoa Tham Street (Hanoi), she saw a car with license plate 30F-745.xx suddenly crash into the back of a motorbike going in the same direction (towards Quan Thanh), causing the two people on the motorbike to fall onto the road.
"On the motorbike were an uncle and a a aunt. The car did not stop but continued moving. At this time, the girl's uncle sat down, while the boy's uncle took his motorbike to chase after the car.
When they reached the Hoang Dieu - Dien Bien Phu intersection, there was a red light, and the car could not continue because there was a bus in front. The groom stopped the car and ran to knock on the door, asking the driver to come down to work," Ms. N.M. said.
However, according to Ms. M, the car driver did not get to work but drove the car away, pushed up and continued to crash into the rear of another car. After that, the driver continued to let the car run at high speed towards Le Duan Street.
"The car was running too fast so we couldn't catch up, losing track from Le Duan section. I was just afraid that the car would crash into many other people because there were many people on the road at the time," said Ms. N.M.
After the clip was posted, many people expressed their frustration and asked the authorities to verify and handle it strictly.
According to information from the Commander of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police, the unit has not received any reports from the victims. From the image shared on social networks, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 will verify the driver of the above car and strictly handle any violations.
