The victim's body was taken home from the hospital to attend the funeral.
As Lao Dong reported, at around 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of District Road 131 and Provincial Road 553 in Cam Binh Commune, a truck with license plate 38C - 203.xx driven by driver Ha Nhat K (born in 1985, residing in Cam Trung Commune, Ha Tinh Province) traveling on Provincial Road 553 from Ha Tinh University to the coastal road crashed into a motorbike with license plate 38X1 - 450.xx ( directions unknown).
The strong crash caused the motorbike to be dragged by a truck dozens of meters underground before stopping.
As a result, Mr. Phan Xuan T (born in 1968, residing in Yen Hoa commune, Ha Tinh province, suspected of being the motorbike driver) died on the spot, his wife, Ms. Tran Thi T (born in 1968), was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital for emergency care.
