On the afternoon of March 1st, the Party Committee of Ea Knuec commune, Dak Lak province, said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing 2 students.
According to initial information, at about 10 am on the same day, at the water reservoir in Buon Ye, Ea Knuec commune, people discovered 2 pairs of sandals and some fishing gear on the shore but no one was found.
Suspecting something was wrong, people went down to the lake to search and discovered 2 young children drowning.
The two victims who drowned and died were Y.S. R. N (3rd grade student, Y Jut Elementary School) and Y.M. K. N (2nd grade student of the same school).
