On April 1, the People's Committee of Bac Nghia Ward (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province) issued a notice about receiving a newborn baby girl abandoned in the area.
At around 3:30 a.m. the same day, people discovered a baby girl placed in a milk basket in residential group 2, Bac Nghia ward.
The child wore a cream outfit, wrapped a pink towel, and a pink hat. The baby was about 10 days old and weighed 3.2 kg.
The basket also has a box of diapers, scarves, a set of clothes and a bottle of warm milk. The People's Committee and the Bac Nghia Ward Police have drawn up a record of the incident, and the child is currently being cared for at the ward health station.
The People's Committee of Bac Nghia Ward called on the child's parents or relatives to contact him as soon as possible to complete the procedures to receive him back.
If no one comes to receive the listing period, the Ward People's Committee will carry out the following procedures according to the law.
