According to the leader of Bao Loc Ward 1 People's Committee, previously, at about 7:10 PM on January 26, people discovered a newborn baby abandoned in the area No. 916 Nguyen Van Cu street (Bao Loc Ward 1) and reported it to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces of Ward 1 Bao Loc were present at the scene to record the incident. Through inspection, the abandoned newborn baby was a baby boy, weighing about 2.3kg, estimated to be 3 days old.
At the time of discovery, the baby was wearing a white infant's clothing, a yellow woolen hat, wrapped in a white blanket, and yellow sacks on his feet.
Immediately after that, Bao Loc Ward 1 People's Committee and relevant agencies agreed to temporarily bring the newborn baby boy to Tin Thac Shelter in the area for care.
Bao Loc Ward 1 People's Committee announces and requests parents or legal relatives of children to contact the headquarters of Bao Loc Ward 1 People's Committee before February 2, 2026 to carry out procedures to receive the child back.
After the above deadline, if no one comes to claim it, Bao Loc Ward 1 People's Committee will carry out birth registration and resolve the issue of adoption of children according to the provisions of law.
