An Giang - Anti-smuggling and trade fraud forces discovered a store in Long Xuyen City selling many goods of unknown origin.

On the morning of May 29, the An Giang Province Anti-smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit goods Joint Team, headed by the Provincial Economic Police, said that it had just discovered and seized many goods of unknown origin, without invoices and documents at a used goods store (local language called Si do), in the area of Hamlet 6, My Long Ward, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 28, implementing the plan to combat smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in An Giang province in 2025, the An Giang Province Interdisciplinary Team against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods suddenly inspected compliance with the law for business activities at a Do Si store, in Hamlet 6, My Long Ward, Long Xuyen City. Through inspection, 52 bags, 3 suitcases, and 11 pairs of shoes were discovered.

All of them have unknown origins, signs of smuggling and counterfeiting the brands of some famous brands in the world.

At the time of inspection, the representative of the business household, Ms. L.T.K.Q, did not produce invoices and documents proving the origin of the above goods, so the working group made a record of the case, and handed over the above goods to Team 1 - the Provincial Market Management Department to verify, clarify and handle in accordance with the law.
