The People's Committee of Cua Nam ward (Hanoi) on February 7th said that it has issued a notice to temporarily suspend the operation of the Hoi An bread business household - address No. 42D Ly Thuong Kiet street, Cua Nam ward.
Previously, on February 3, the inter-sectoral food safety (ATTP) inspection team of Cua Nam ward conducted a surprise inspection of Bami bread Hoi An bread business establishment at 42D Ly Thuong Kiet street.
At the time of inspection, the establishment opened for operation, the business establishment operated on 1 floor, the inspection team discovered violations of food safety, specifically:
- Certificate of food safety and hygiene eligibility establishment: No food service business establishment.
- Have not presented health certificates, certificates of training in food safety knowledge of facility owners and employees as prescribed.
- Processed foods without labels, food left on the floor without high shelves.
No waste collection tools.
- Employees in contact with food do not use protective gear, gloves, or masks.
Based on the proposal from the conclusion of the surprise inspection team on February 3, the People's Committee of Cua Nam ward requested to temporarily suspend the business operation of food and beverage services of Bami bread Hoi An household business establishment (No. 42D Ly Thuong Kiet street) from February 4 until food safety conditions and conditions according to regulations are met. Request the establishment to strictly comply.
Request the Police and the Ward Health Station to supervise the temporary suspension of operation of the Hoi An Bami bread bread business household at 42D Ly Thuong Kiet street; publicize information about food safety violations at establishments; propagate to people and tourists not to use services at establishments that do not ensure food safety; strictly handle if establishments intentionally open for operation.
