Excited and moved when arriving in the capital on the occasion of the country's great national anniversary, Mr. Cho rum Nhien - former Secretary of the Nam Giang District Party Committee (old, Da Nang) said that the last time he visited Hanoi was 5 years ago.
"This time returning to Hanoi, I see a lot of changes in the capital. We are very excited to see the whole street decorated with brilliant flags and flowers, and people sitting on both sides of the road to prepare for the grand ceremony tomorrow morning, September 2", he said.
Sharing the same joy, Mr. Bhling Mia - Co Tu ethnic group, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Tay Giang Commune People's Council shared: among the 282 delegates of Da Nang City attending the ceremony, the oldest was 79 years old and the youngest was 24 years old.
"Although we are not of the same age and have different jobs, we all share the same joy when coming to the capital to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the nation's independence. We are grateful to the Party, the Government, central ministries, branches and Hanoi City for actively preparing to organize a truly solemn and meaningful grand ceremony.
In particular, we were very touched when Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung directly shook hands, welcomed each member of the delegation and took a souvenir photo with the delegates," he said.
To prepare carefully for welcoming delegates from provinces and cities to the capital to attend the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung signed and issued Official Letter No. 4868 on welcoming work. Accordingly, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to arrange places for meals, accommodation, and travel, ensuring solemnity, thoughtfulness, and dignification.
The Department of Culture and Sports will coordinate with the Department of Tourism and focal points for delegations to prepare invitations, delegation cards, badges, and seat charts.
Hanoi City Police and the Department of Construction will coordinate to develop a traffic diversion plan, traffic guidance, and organize a vehicle gathering point to ensure safe and convenient pick-up and drop-off of delegates. The People's Committees of communes and wards where hotels are located to welcome delegates are responsible for maintaining security, order, environmental sanitation and assigning staff to be on duty at accommodation locations.
With the synchronous and careful preparation of departments, branches and sectors, Hanoi City is ready for the big holiday, ensuring that the delegations, people of the capital and tourists have a safe, meaningful and complete holiday.
