On the evening of August 20, functional forces in Dau Tieng commune were still overcoming the consequences caused by thunderstorms in the area.
Initial information, in the afternoon of the same day, many areas in the north of Ho Chi Minh City experienced heavy rain and wind. In Dau Tieng commune, a large thunderstorm occurred, affecting people's houses and trees.
After the storm occurred, the Military Command of Dau Tieng commune quickly mobilized officers and soldiers to the scene to review damage and support people to overcome it.
According to records, in the areas of Cho Sang hamlet, Nui Cau hamlet, Dinh Thanh hamlet and Suoi Dua hamlet, many households had their roofs blown off and heavily damaged; many green trees fell across the road, causing traffic obstruction and affecting people's lives.

In the immediate future, the Military Command of Dau Tieng commune coordinates with grassroots security forces and people to collect fallen trees and clear roads. At the same time, it supports families whose roofs have been blown off and overcomes damage.
Up to now, the roads have been cut and cleared of fallen trees, ensuring traffic for people. In alley 60 Thong Nhat street (block 3, Dau Tieng commune), people's roofs have been blown off and hanging high. Functional forces have cordoned off both ends of the road to prevent people from passing through and avoid falling.
It is known that the storm did not cause any casualties, and the functional forces of Dau Tieng commune are still statistically assessing the damage. After August 21, they will continue to support households whose roofs were blown off to overcome the consequences.
