On June 18, the Organizing Committee of the Huynh Thuc Khang Press Award of Da Nang City for the first time (2025 - 2026) announced and awarded prizes to 60 best works. Lao Dong Newspaper is honored to have 2 works winning prizes at this year's season.

The first season recorded the dedication of journalists with 284 entries. As a result, the Organizing Committee selected and awarded 7 First Prizes in the following types of journalism:
Print newspaper (Journalist genre): Work "Noi cuoi bien, dau song..." – Author Le Trung Viet (Nong Thon Viet Magazine).
Print newspaper (Category Reflection/Investigation): Series of 3 articles "Da Nang breaks through from realizing specific mechanisms and policies" – Author group Hua Van Hai, Tran Mai Que (Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television).
Electronic Newspaper: Work "Quang Trung Campaign in Da Nang: A lightning-fast "rebirth"" – Group of authors of Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television.
Television (Long Reportage/Documentary): 5-episode chronicle "Sa Huynh culture mystery in Da Nang" – Author group of Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television.
Television (Short Reportage/Centenary): Centenary "Quang Trung Campaign - Command from the Heart" – Author Group of Vietnam Television Center for Central - Central Highlands Region (VTV8).
Radio: Series of 3 articles "Da Nang breaks through on a new journey" – Author Phan Thanh Ha (Central Regional Representative Office - VOV).

Notably, the Central Office of Lao Dong Newspaper contributed 2 works honored at the awards ceremony:
Third Prize (Print newspaper): Reporter Nguyen Hoang Bin with the work "The overnight rescue amidst the fierce flood in the Central region".
Consolation Prize: Collaborator Lau Van Thanh.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also officially launched the 2nd Huynh Thuc Khang Press Award of Da Nang City (2026 - 2027). At the same time, the City Journalists Association awarded 10 scholarships (5 million VND/scholarship) from the "Loving Coffee Program" fund to poor students overcoming difficulties from the Faculty of Journalism - Communication, University of Education (Da Nang University).
