Wards in Da Nang will completely handle the situation of cows released

Da Nang - Despite repeated reports to the authorities, the situation of cattle moving freely and playing freely in Ngu Hanh Son ward has continued for many years.

Many people in Ngu Hanh Son ward were upset and reported the situation of cattle free to roam from morning to night, playing at night, biting trees, obstructing traffic and posing a potential safety risk to road users. Despite repeated petitions to residential groups, ward and district authorities (before the merger), the above situation still recurred persistently.

According to the reflection, the situation of grazing cows has occurred for many years on streets such as Bo Quan, Tu Giay, Truong Xuan Nam... Every day, there are at least 3 herds of cows, each herd of 10 to 30 cows, walking freely on the streets, from early morning to late night.

People said that although they have repeatedly sent opinions to authorities at all levels and received commitments to handle the matter, the inspection and handling were not drastic, causing the violation to only temporarily suspend and then recur. As a result, the residential area has had to live in a state of unsanitary conditions, insecurity and loss of urban beauty for a long time.

People recommend that authorities take stronger measures, strictly punish cow owners, and at the same time strengthen inspection, propaganda and resolutely relocate the herd out of residential areas, to ensure a safe, orderly and civilized living environment.

In response to the long-term reflection of the people on the situation of grazing cows in Ngu Hanh Son ward causing pollution, insecurity and urban beauty, Ngu Hanh Son ward People's Committee said it will organize a campaign to completely handle the situation in July and August 2025.

According to the People's Committee of Ngu Hanh Son Ward, the authorities have been assigned to inspect and count the number of households raising buffalo and cow in residential areas, and at the same time deploy propaganda to promote the end of free grazing. The ward has also developed a specific plan to organize the campaign, resolutely handle violations, and ensure a safe and civilized living environment for the people.
