Storm No. 13 is expected to make landfall in the old Phu Yen province (now Dak Lak province).
The Command is directly commanded by Major General Nguyen Quoc Huong - Deputy Commander of Military Region 5, to unify the direction and operation of armed forces in the area in coordination with local authorities to deploy measures to respond to natural disasters and rescue.

The armed forces units of Dak Lak province continue to inspect coastal areas and areas at risk of landslides and flooding, prepare evacuation plans for people, ensuring completion before 8:00 p.m. on November 5. At the same time, Military Region 5 requires strengthening the reinforcement of houses, tents, checking dams, communication, and at the same time establishing shock teams, ready to help people respond to emergency situations, especially for the elderly, children, and vulnerable groups.
The command post has also worked with Song Cau ward and Xuan Dai ward (Song Cau town, the old Phu Yen province) to grasp the situation and direct response preparation work.
Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods
