In the afternoon of August 30, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded on National Highway 6 passing through Moc Chau ward, the volume of vehicles increased sharply, causing many roads to become crowded, with vehicles stretching through the central areas.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Chairwoman of Moc Chau Ward People's Committee, the number of visitors to the locality is starting to increase, and many accommodation establishments have reached a capacity of over 80%.

It is predicted that the number of visitors will continue to increase in the coming days when tourists move to Moc Chau for tourism during the September 2nd holiday.

Accommodation establishments, attractions and tourism services in the area have proactively prepared necessary conditions to welcome guests, meeting the needs of entertainment and resorts during the holiday.

Similarly, in Ta Xua, the increased number of visitors has caused many roads and areas near tourist attractions to become crowded, and at times local congestion occurs. The flow of vehicles stretches, moving slowly, creating traffic pressure during the holidays.

Mr. Do Van Xiem - Chairman of Ta Xua Commune People's Committee - shared that in the first 2 days of the holiday, the locality welcomed about 4,000 visitors, and is expected to reach 15,000 visitors for the whole period.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, a tourist from Phu Tho, said that her family had planned to come to Ta Xua before the holidays. The large number of visitors makes traveling at some points take more time, but does not significantly affect the experience.

According to Ms. Thu, the atmosphere in Ta Xua is cool and the scenery is beautiful. Being able to stand on the mountain to admire the clouds and experience the highland life makes the holiday trip memorable.

The increase in the number of visitors also leads to traffic pressure on National Highway 6 - the main road connecting the Northwest region with Son La tourist destinations.

Mr. Bui Van Nam, a regular driver on National Highway 6, informed that the 2/9 holiday has lasted for the past year, the number of tourists to Mai Chau, Moc Chau, Ta Xua has increased sharply, causing traffic on the route to be more crowded than usual, and some sections at times experienced congestion.

According to Mr. Nam, National Highway 6 has many steep passes and curves that are out of sight. If vehicle drivers lack attention to observation or handle them in time, the risk of accidents is very high.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Duc, during holidays, the traffic volume on National Highway 6 increases, while the route has many dangerous curves and slopes, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.

The Traffic Police force strengthens propaganda and reminds vehicle drivers to carefully check their vehicles before traveling, especially the braking system and tires when going up and down mountainous roads.
