Launching the "Smart kiosk supporting public services in residential areas" model

TRẦN TUẤN |

Ha Tinh - The "Smart kiosk supporting public services in residential areas" model aims to help people quickly and conveniently look up public services.

On September 12, Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee held a launching ceremony for the "Smart kiosk supporting public services in residential areas" model.

The model is piloted by Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee in residential group 24 and residential group 29 to promote digital transformation, build digital government, improve service quality for people and businesses; and diversify forms of public administrative service provision, bringing digital utilities closer to people.

This is the first locality in Ha Tinh province to pilot the implementation of this model.

Smart kiosks are arranged as a self-service public service support point in residential areas, directly connected to the National Public Service Portal.

Through the system, people can look up administrative procedures, submit dossiers online, monitor the progress of dossier resolution, and assess satisfaction after transactions. The system also allows the use of data from citizen identification cards to automatically fill in information when performing public services.

According to Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee, the model is one of the solutions to bring public services closer to people, gradually forming the habit of using online public services in the community, contributing to improving the efficiency of digital transformation at the grassroots level.

The deployment of smart kiosks also helps people save time and travel costs when carrying out administrative procedures, and at the same time contributes to reducing the pressure of receiving applications directly at the Ward Public Administrative Service Center.

According to the plan, Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee will pilot the model in residential group 24 and residential group 29. After 3 months of operation, it will evaluate operational efficiency based on criteria such as the number of people using it, the effectiveness of supporting administrative procedures and the level of people's satisfaction.

The evaluation results will be the basis for the ward to complete the model and move towards expanding it in the area.

In addition to coordinating the installation and operation of the system, Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee will organize training, propaganda, and guidance for people to effectively exploit the utilities of smart kiosks, contributing to promoting digital transformation in the residential community.
