On the morning of February 20 (the 4th day of Lunar New Year), units stationed in Truong Sa special zone of Brigade 146, Naval Region 4 organized a training launching ceremony and launched a training emulation movement in 2026.
The launching ceremony took place in a joyful atmosphere at the beginning of spring, showing the determination of officers and soldiers in performing the task of firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
In 2025, the islands on the Truong Sa archipelago have thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented the emulation movement in training with the theme "Good training, safety, mastery, regularity, modernity".
Training work is carried out according to the motto "Basic, practical, solid"; emphasizing synchronous and in-depth training, with practice as the main focus.
The Brigade identified the breakthrough as "Basic training, mastery, specialization in exploitation, use of technical equipment and implementation of safety rules", taking the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty and building a "Revolutionary, regular, elite, modern" unit as a consistent goal.
Stepping into 2026, units continue to thoroughly grasp resolutions, orders, directives, and instructions from superiors on training advisory work; promote the "Good Training" emulation movement associated with the identified breakthrough stage.
The islands closely follow the motto "Basic, practical, solid"; train closely to plans, closely to situations; take practice as the main thing; strengthen physical training, improve health and endurance for soldiers.
Along with that, units proactively prepare good models, teaching aids, and ensuring materials; promote the movement to promote initiatives and technical improvements to serve training and combat readiness; take care of the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers; organize cultural and sports activities during breaks and weekends, creating a healthy cultural environment for soldiers to feel secure in their work.
In 2026, units strive to complete 100% of the training program, content, and time; the number of participating troops reaches 100%; the results of inspection of contents meet 100% of requirements, of which 80% or more achieve good and excellent grades; ensuring absolute safety.
