The Inter-regional Road project connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai - with a total investment after adjustment of VND 2,120 billion, has more than 53km handed over and put into use.
Currently, the project is continuing to build a branch line to connect from the main line (at Km23+910) to Cam Khe Industrial Park, building a road extending from the starting point of the main line (at Km0) to National Highway 32 (at Km76+150).

With the route extending from the starting point of the main route to National Highway 32 (near Phong Chau bridge), with a total length of 3.726km, designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road, with a design speed of 80 km/h.
This section of the route belongs to Package No. 60: Construction of the extended road, with a winning bid price of nearly 97.6 billion VND, to be implemented from May 2025.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, after nearly 7 months of construction, the route has basically taken shape. It can be seen that the contractor is implementing the work of digging and filling the roadbed, spreading crushed stone, constructing a drainage system, building an overpass on Ho Chi Minh Road...
Many engineers, workers and many large machines and vehicles have been mobilized to the construction site to construct this section, especially the area near the Ho Chi Minh Road overpass (adjacent to the Tam Nong District Martyrs' Cemetery).

To ensure traffic safety and environmental sanitation during the construction process, the contractor has limited vehicles traveling through the above area (vehicles traveling through the road connecting the two industrial parks), and mobilized tankers to water the road to limit dust.

Mr. Nguyen Van Doan - a resident of Hung Viet commune, Phu Tho province - shared: "I hope this road section will be completed soon, it will be faster and easier for us people from Cam Khe district (old) to Phong Chau bridge to go to Viet Tri city (old) than going to National Highway 32C".

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Do The Nam - Director of Phu Tho Project Management Board - said that the road construction package extending from the starting point of the main route (at Km0) to National Highway 32 (at Km76+150) - is focusing on the construction of the Ho Chi Minh overpass, excavation, roadbed filling (3.5/3.726km), construction of precast components, and construction of drainage systems on the route.

Regarding compensation and resettlement, Mr. Nam informed that up to now, 315/315 households have been inventoried and compensation plans have been prepared, reaching 100%; compensation and payment plans have been approved for 295/315 households.

Along with that, 3.5/3.726km of site has been handed over. Uncompetent site clearance of 0.226km/3.726 km (total of 20 households in Van Xuan commune). The resettlement area in Van Xuan commune to arrange for 7 households has been completed.
