On January 6, leaders of Dong Nai province worked on the progress of transport infrastructure projects connecting to Long Thanh airport.
To serve traffic connection with Long Thanh airport in Dong Nai province, there are 8 investment projects to build roads being implemented.
Currently, there are 4 projects that have implemented construction work, including: Component Project 1 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project; Component Project 3 - Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project; Provincial Road 25B Upgrade Project (section from the center of Nhon Trach commune to National Highway 51) and Provincial Road 25C Construction Project section from National Highway 51 to Huong Lo 19, phase 1).
The remaining projects include: upgrading and expanding provincial roads 769, 773 and investing in the construction of provincial roads 770B, 769E are in the process of implementing investment procedures.
According to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board: Component Project 3 - Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project reached more than 63% of the contract value. Component Project 1 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project reached 66%; Provincial Road 25B Upgrade Project reached nearly 29%; Provincial Road 25C Construction Project the construction value is currently only 0.5% (due to not handing over the site).
Speaking at the working session, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut requested the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to closely coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and branches to soon remove obstacles in site clearance work. At the same time, develop specific construction implementation plans for each project.
Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee also said: Land problems must be completely resolved in January 2026. At the same time, accelerate the progress of projects, complete construction and put them into operation in June 2026, meeting the goal of connecting and serving the operation of Long Thanh Airport when put into commercial operation.
