The most dangerous landslide location was 3m from a resident's house and about 20m from the foot of the Lo left dike; the danger level was especially serious, directly threatening the safety of the Lo left dike.
Through preliminary inspection and assessment, the main cause of the severe landslide was the impact of storm No. 3, the water level of Lo River rose, the riverbank area in Hong Duong village, Bach Luu commune, Song Lo district was submerged in water about (2+3) m for many days, combined with the riverbank geology being mainly sandy soil without cohesion, when the flood receded, the sliding mass ate deep into the bank.
